Wuthering Heights & more

With all the discourse around the Wuthering Heights movie, I couldn’t help myself, I just had to draw Heathcliff & Catherine. I can’t believe the movie left out the wildest part (spoiler alert, he digs up her grave just to hold her one more time!) The entire book is (unreliably) narrated by Nelly, the housekeeper who casts a pretty disparaging side eye on most of what goes on so I really wanted to include her in the image. I loved the idea of her just getting on with her daily tasks while the two protatognists are being dramatic on the side. Below are some of my most recent editorials!
